Lynn Miller shares the following about herself:
I was born in El Paso, Texas, in 1965. My father, Joe E. Williams, was a 100% disabled WWII veteran. We moved around a lot, while I was growing up. My father was quite the entrepreneur, always finding ways to make money, and was a good provider for his family. Growing up, we always had his mother, my grandmother living with us. She was an amazing lady, with great stories, and was a huge influence, so I had two moms. In my early teens I started to have what I later understood as out-of-body experiences. It wasn't until decades later that I understood what they were.
Through my entire life, I was interested in the paranormal. After high school I started college and majored in psychology and biology. I began teaching college biology labs, and then entered into the military in 1990. After receiving my MS in biology in 1994, I continued to teach college biology classes. Then I entered into the food industry as a food microbiologist. After having my first and only child in 2002 I got my teaching certification and began teaching high school science, and then became certified in art and now teach K-12 art. I have 16 years of teaching experience including higher education and public education. In the Spring of 2006, I developed an interest in the study of consciousness, and in the summer of 2010 I began the practice of controlled out-of-body experiences.
