The original Round Trip to Hell in a Flying Saucer was published back in 1955 and authored by one Cecil Michael. The author, then a resident and auto mechanic of Bakersfield, California, claimed a dramatic and unique kind of contactee experience in which the experiencer was taken to the “planet of hell”!

Under Tim Beckley and Sean Casteel’s editorship, a comprehensive global and historical database of hellish encounter accounts is added, with thought-provoking submissions also contributed from such noted researchers and authors as Scott Corrales, Adam Gorightly, T. Allen Greenfield, William Mott, Nick Redfern, Brad Steiger, Tim Swartz, and…oh yeah, Brent Raynes! You can read about the Moslem Jinn, the Native American Tricksters and Skin-walkers, the Hounds of Hell, the Men In Black, Chupacabras, Aleister Crowley’s gray-like Lam, morphing UFOs, along with John Lear’s remarks on how the grays are feeding on our souls, plus much, much more. Also there’s John Keel’s demonic UFO philosophy, Chris O’Brien’s views on shape shifters (in an interview with Tim Beckley, O’Brien described the “trickster” as the “most ancient of all cross-cultural archetypes” that “rivals the influence of all other god-form(s)”, adding that “UFOs…can be viewed as a classic, modern trickster form”, and wait till you read the story of the UFO that “expanded” and “morphed into the shape of a bear…’a three-headed wolf,’ then turned into a cloud!”), ex-Jesuit priest Salvador Freixedo’s conviction on how humankind is farmed for its blood and psychic energies, a couple of physicists with the Department of Defense who came to believe that the Grays were actually demons from hell, and so very, ver-ry much more.

While some researchers/experiencers quoted and contributing material for this book felt these entities were the classic biblical manifestation of demonic phenomena, others weren’t so certain or disagreed with that interpretation. Nonetheless, all agreed that these phenomena are doubtless significant and meaningful and deserving of further investigation and analysis.

A thought-provoking assemblage of evidence, this book presents a vast variety of information on aspects of ufology that are seldom given much coverage or exploration, much less much thought. With pictures and illustrations throughout it’s 300 pages, this volume makes for an intriguing review of many claims and cases of the ultimate kind of high-strangeness that ufology has to offer.

This is another future Steiger classic that focuses upon the controversial and complex alien abduction and contactee phenomenon. Due out in May, it contains about a hundred photos and illustrations, detailing over 300 examples of alien being encounters, exploring the theories and evidence behind this staggering global enigma. From George Adamski to Betty and Barney Hill, and many cases and testimonials collected themselves, the database is extensive and global. The timeline goes from modern accounts to ancient ones, adding thought-provoking evidence and speculation, reviewing what is commonly called the “ancient astronaut” theory.

A great book for newcomers, bringing them quickly up-to-speed on the alien encounter phenomenon, while a handy reference guide, with updates, for the seasoned ufologist.

A decade ago, journalist and Los Angeles filmmaker David Thomas was skeptical when he first confronted the issue of so-called “channeling,” the alleged ability of some people to lapse into a trance state, communicating and passing along information from a spirit being. But after just one encounter, his position began to change rather dramatically. He decided to conduct in-depth interviews with six of the most prominent channelers alive today. In the process, Thomas became the proverbial true believer, as he interviewed Lee Carroll (Kryon), Darryl Anka (Bashar), Geoffrey Hoppe (Tobias), Wendy Kennedy (a Pleidian Collective), John Cali (Chief Joseph), and Shawn Randall (Torah).

With his cameraman Matthiew Klinck at his side, the two men travel across the country and share an incredible journey filled with new and thought-provoking discoveries.

Described as a metaphysical classic first published back in 1916, author Clint Marsh brings this “lost classic” back to life, and let’s us in on a little secret: Swami Panchadashi was simply author William Walker Atkinson himself writing under a pseudonym. Nonetheless, Clint Marsh finds the “Panchadasi” writings a truly comprehensive, gentle introduction into one’s own psychic development, and in fact attributes a good deal of influence from Panchadasi’s writings to his own 2008 book, The Mentalist’s Handbook.

This edition due out in May, with chapter titles like The Astral Senses, Mind Reading and Beyond, Clairvoyant Psychometry, Clairvoyant Crystal-Gazing, Astral-Body Traveling, Psychic and Magnetic Healing, and many more chapters written along other themes of psychic development, you’ll have an overview of the instructions and processes said to be involved in such practices and if you desire to dabble with any of it yourself, the instructions all seem quite simple and straightforward, and are said to have worked for many others through the years.

Loyd Auerbach is a highly respected name I have been familiar with for many years through the pages of FATE magazine, where he has been a regular columnist. A parapsychologist, Loyd Auerbach writes in this book about the many haunted sites that he and his co-author and noted psychic Annette Martin investigated over a 15 year period, including such tourist destinations as Alcatraz, Chinatown, and the Presidio.

A great read filled with lots of photographs, this is a well-written and thought-provoking book.
