If you’re intrigued by the West Virginia Mothman mystery and was captivated by John Keel’s The Mothman Prophecies book or movie, then Andrew Colvin’s The Mothman Speaks is a book that you most definitely must read! Growing up in West Virginia during the Mothman ruckus of the 1960s, Andy and his family had a variety of Mothman, UFO, and paranormal-type encounters, as did their neighbors and friends. John Keel had remarked that he could have written six volumes on the Mothman phenomenon, but pointed out that there wasn’t really a market for it. Fortunately for us, Mr. Colvin has resumed where Keel left off. This is actually his first book, though he has already written several others.
I must warn you, however. This book will absolutely catapult you into a virtual multiverse of electrifying high-strangeness. Stories of enigmatic encounters with MIBs, bigfoots, aliens, Mothman, ghosts, elemental-types, and the dark and sinister underpinnings of conspiratorial events and personalities, ranging from Charles Manson, Indrid Cold, Fred Lee Crisman, and a host of other people and organizations. Is there a connection between Mothman, UFOs, and Indian Mounds? Did the notorious TNT plant serve as a facility for making parts for an atomic bomb? Did Mothman foretell the tragic 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers?
Indrid Cold, Woody Derenberger, and Tad Jones were all former Carbide workers in West Virginia. Was that company trying to develop flying saucers? Was Indrid Cold a UFO pilot? Did Keel encounter elemental spirit forms and EVP phenomena in his investigations? Why did Andy and other investigators do a “ghost box” session at a supposedly haunted ammunition storage igloo inside of the old TNT area? What messages did they seemingly get?
