This book’s author J. S. Gordon (1946-2013), the holder of a master’s degree in Western esotericism from Britain’s University of Exeter, has been widely known and recognized for his indepth knowledge and understanding of ancient Egyptian mystical beliefs and traditions. In this scholarly book, Gordon strives to expand further our information base on the sacred sciences and wisdom traditions of this ancient Egypt, as well as that found among the Greeks and the Celts too. Complex commonalities abound that suggest that an advanced worldwide civilization existed back in prehistoric times.

Gordon thoughtfully and thoroughly examines a wide range of clues in his efforts to reconstruct the ancient past, from art, architecture, myths, astrology, and archaeoastronomy. He reveals their belief in reincarnation, in the spiritual evolution of the human soul, and how mankind is “born from the substance of the stars.”
