Russian girl claims Alien Powers

A fifth grader from Sochi was preparing to enter art school. All her relatives and acquaintances knew her as a diligent student and instead of partying with her friends, the girl preferred to spend time watching educational programs and reading books. A week before the art school interview, she and her parents went to a nearby village to visit her grandmother. But when she fell asleep on her bed on the 2nd floor of the house, she was no longer in it in the morning. Her parents were supposed to wake up before everyone else to make breakfast. And as everybody waited for her at the breakfast table, the girl did not come down. When they went up to get her, they found the bed empty. After five minutes they called the police in a hysterical state. Neighbors, teachers and classmates were questioned. No one knew anything. The parents became the main suspects because there were no signs of a break-in.
As a result, the parents had to spend twice as much money on private detectives and lawyers. The former were paid to do the work of police officers who wanted to close the case quickly, the latter to thwart the police efforts.
Three weeks later, the police received a report that a lone girl had been sitting in front of the House of Culture for several hours. Very soon it turned out that this was the same missing girl. She seemed to be in a daze, just sitting and staring into the void. She didn’t answer anyone’s questions. Doctors did not find any abrasions or other injuries on her. Soon the whole family was reunited. And although the girl did not answer the questions from the police, she told her parents the shocking truth. She said, “If I tell you, there’s no point in telling others, they won’t believe it anyway.”
That night she had slept longer than usual and was also very restless, closing and opening her eyes endlessly. At one point she found herself in a white room with many corridors. At first, she was scared, but then a boy called out to her. His name was Semyon. He was one of the “chosen ones.” There were 78 of them in total. Everyone the same age. Everyone was very smart, and all from different countries. Semyon reassured her. Apparently, he had been one of the first there and already knew what was going on. Semyon told her that very soon they would be given ‘incredible powers.’ And that’s exactly what happened later.
After a while, some very thin and tall creatures entered the room. She couldn’t see their faces, as they were hidden under strange pointed hoods. When they spoke to the children, they confirmed Semyon’s statement: they will be given powers. However, her parents were convinced that it all had been a trick of the worst representatives of humanity but soon realized that higher powers were really involved.
The creatures told the children that humanity was on ‘a slippery slope’ that cannot be left without external intervention and what they were about to do violated the rule of their civilizations (noninterference?). But they could no longer stand by and watch the Earth destroy itself. The aliens told the children that they would change them, but not outwardly. According to reports the girl apparently was given enormous brain powers. She could go into meditation for long periods of time, her memory improved, and she was now able to predict future events. According to the aliens, several years after passing through adolescence, the transformation will be complete. There were only two options: either we follow the aliens’ instructions, or our planet will come to an end.
The girl’s family was shocked with the composure the girl said all of this. On many occasions afterward, the girl will go into strange trances and not speak for a long period of time.
